Thank you Zen Master, I really needed to hear this today. 🙏
I was overwhelmed by the situation today and it was ridiculous situation i laughed later.
And when are mind is not calm enough?
🙏🙏🙏
Excellent lectures!
yes thank you for this! great examples of not knowing. I was thinking not knowing is the same as presence or mindfulness.

“The wind does not break a tree that bends.”
This is an amazing teaching that helped me a lot, thank you
🍎🍎🍎
I am practicing Zazen for many years and yet . . . Each time I sit or stand or walk I am a beginner . I hear Zen Master say ‘who is doing the sitting? Who is standing? Who is walking? ‘ and always the answer is ‘don’t know ‘ Until no self appears , don’t know remains
How might I skillfully use the karma of a fighter who is always trying to prove themselves to the point of risking death?
You seem to have a lack of focus. 😄
And I thought it was my inability to see clearly :-)
Beautiful explanation! I have been meditating for a while but just recently learned about hara. Looking forward to exploring it
Excellent short lecture!
😁😁😁
Is being a person escapable? Isn’t what we are after an eternal person, I.e. Be Jesus Christ in us?
🐱🙏
Hapchang Master. Your words are “our” words. And; are always needed to be heard. Strong finger pointing to the moon. Just now, don’t know!!
🙏🙏🙏
So anazing, beautiful. . 🎉 ()()()
I've been coming back here for a decade.
Art can cut through too ... words not useful.
Would anybody know where i can find that poem?
Hapchang
Lovely as always Hapchang teacher
Very Good... !!!

"three zen monks walk into a bar. the first one says 'ill have a tea'. the second one says 'ill have a tea too'. and the the third one says 'ill also have a tea'. and then promptly all three are escorted out by the bouncer." :|
Nansen : fools .
🙏🙏🙏
I just found this and I am deeply Grateful.
This was super helpful. Thanks!
Thank you for this talk and sharing your experience 🙏🏻This is beautiful in our school - the uniformity of forms and the repeatability of everything. During my first retreat, I realized that the last time I was so "enslaved" to the forms and rigor imposed from above was in the military barracks - with no way out - no space for the swinging mind of I, ME, MINE. At the same time, I was able to take a closer look at all this thinking. I felt a huge relief because nothing depended on my whim. There only was a schelude that had to be followed and rookie must just watch carefully to follow the rest of the team correctly. Once I heared that living in zen center is similar as life in army - only direction is different.
Awesome! Will be back next week… 🙇🙇🙇
I was wondering if you can do a talk on fate some time, Master Bon Soeng. Or maybe you can talk about what Master Seungsahn said about it? Maybe there’s nothing really to say about it, I am just interested because many times it seems like fate plays a role in my life. It may be an illusion, though. Thank you so much for all you and all the people at EGZC do.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you for this teaching!
Seriously helpful. "Waking up means leaving room for what you don't know." ~ Bon Soeng So if I think I gotta have a map, this points in the right direction for sure. Many many thanks!
